Hi everyone! Upon request of a friend (thanks Tina) I have added a few pictures of Opa´s house for you to get an idea of where Jan and I live. We are so thankful for Opa´s hospitality. This house is very typical for northern Germany. In the backyard we have walnut, hazelnut and apple trees, as well as strawberry and raspberry bushes. Opa´s wife was a great gardener and much of her hard work is still in bloom around here. This is where Jan feels he can really call home so it is nice for me to call it my home as well.

What a cute house! You're so lucky to have such beautiful surroundings! I bet it's going to be really great picking all those fruits and enjoying them next year!
