On Mom's last day here in Switzerland I took her to Luzern and we went up the Pilatus.  I've done previous blogs about trips to the Pilatus but I've had the privilege to go at very different times of the year.  It was really cold this time.  :)  The fog down in town wasn't very promising but once we rose above it the view was amazing.  The top of the Pilatus is about 7,000 feet (about 2,100 meters).  We stayed at the top for about 2 hours and had Apple strudel, tea, soaked up some sun and took in the view.  It always amazes me that this destination is only an hour and 40 minute train ride from Schaffhausen.
Thanks for such a great visit Mom!
