Last Wednesday we celebrated Jan's 30th birthday. After Jan got home from work we grilled and enjoyed Tiramisu together. The girls were so excited for the party to begin (and they had to wait almost the whole day), so we had to drag out the party prep process. It was a fun day!

The girls in their pretty party attire. The picture does not show this but to complete the outfit Lina had to wear every barrette she owned in her hair. :)
Last but not least this post would not be complete without a house update...
The kitchen paneling has been removed in the dining area. Since this picture was taken the flooring has also been ripped out and the new flooring is starting to go in.
This is a picture of the "beautiful" wallpaper that was hiding under the paneling in the kitchen. The problem is that they painted over the wallpaper above the paneling which means we have some wall rebuilding to do.
The bathroom has been completely emptied and prepared for remodeling. :)

Step by step our house is starting to change. Hoping to move in in 3 weeks or so.
