Birthday Girl!

Yep, yesterday we celebrated Lina's first birthday. I have to say it... the year went so fast! What parent doesn't say that though...

Anyway, we had a wonderful day together. She loved playing with her balloons in the morning, watching the birds and playing in the fountain in the afternoon, and opening presents and visiting with friends in the evening.

This picture was taken at the big plaza we have in Schaffhausen. We often go there to admire the birds, practice walking and watch/play in the water fountain.

She got some really nice presents. This one from Uncle Jon and Aunt Sunni was one of her favorites.

Today, we will enjoy the cake part of the birthday. I made white cake cupcakes and filled them with a bit of raspberry jam. Opa Michael is coming this afternoon so we decided to wait and eat cake with him.
