December in Schaffhausen is really wonderful with all the Christmas decorations everywhere.  On this particular day, Jan and I went to the Christmas market and then walked up and saw this beautiful scene from the Munot (fortress).  Everyone is moving into holiday mode here including Jan and I.  Tomorrow we'll be flying up to Hannover for a few days to visit Opa, Leo and some other family and friends.  Then on the 23rd, we'll be taking the train down to see Jan's mom who lives in the Frankfurt area.
