Jan and I have a thing for rivers.  We've made a couple visits to the Mississippi since we've been here so far.  It is fun to sit on the banks of a river and think.  On this particular day we were celebrating Memorial Day.  This just seems like the perfect spot to celebrate such a day.  The beautiful weather, the river, the cool industrial-looking bridge with a train on it.  It was a nice place to be.  

Lina enjoyed practicing saying "Mississippi."  She did it quite well!  It was fun for her to "rescue" the sticks from the river as they floated past.  

Jamie had a great time chilling and taking in the scenery.
