MN in a nutshell

So finally I sit down to do an update from our trip to Minnesota. It started out a bit stressful. The international flight is stressful enough but because of the snow in Minneapolis we had to spend the night in Cincinnati. One overnight was bad enough but because there were so many passengers that didn't make it to Minneapolis it was difficult to get on a flight. Four new states later and yet another overnight and we finally made it to our destination.
We were all very relieved to be at my parent's house. Being with my family was such a treat as they loved to play with Lina and Jan and I got some nice breaks and time for ourselves. It was a busy time because my brother Jon also married the beautiful Sunni while we were there. Unfortunately I don't have any wedding photos to post because the day was so busy I didn't take any photos myself. Hopefully Jon and Sunni will receive their photos from the photographer soon and I can post some.

The ceremony was very beautiful! The message of Christ and His plan for marriage is displayed beautifully in these two. God is going to do great things through them as a married couple. We love you Jon and Sunni!
We had to get out and enjoy the snow! At first Lina was quite skeptical of it but slowly she grew to really enjoy it.
We spent Christmas with my family as well. It had been ages since I spent this time with them and it was so refreshing to be together. I enjoyed every moment and am thankful for the time together. The above photo was taken at the Christmas Eve service at my parent's church. Lina had been in the nursery the entire time. She loved it so much we literally had to pry her fingers from the table to get her to come home with us.
Here Lina, Grandma and Auntie Sunni are playing with her new toy on Christmas morning.
