We really made the Germany tour this last week. In total we put on about 2,000 km in 9 days. Our first stop was in Grossburgwedel to visit Opa for a couple nights. Then we went up to Cuxhaven for 3 days by ourselves on the sea. That was really nice and relaxing. This first picture is of the little basket we rented for the day. As you can see, Lina had a busy day and was tired out from her little swim.
After our time at the sea we went to Opa's for a night and then continued on our way to Neuburg to visit my Father-in-law, his girlfriend an her three daughters.
There were so many people that we met and visited with that it is difficult to show a picture of everyone. Here are a few to start with and I'll try and add some more in a couple days.

Cousins! Christoph, Sam and Nico were also in Germany! What a treat it was to see them on this trip. Our visits are few and far between but always so nice. Nico is growing up so fast and he is expecting his little sister in November. Yeah! Sam... you looked amazing by the way. So glad you're feeling well!
I also had the chance to meet Jan's Uncle Stefan, Aunt Uta and two cousins Florian and Merle! This trip was definitely packed with family encounters. It was so nice to meet them for dinner. :)
These are some of our friends from Hannover... Markus and Judith (middle) with their son Paul, Anika and Eike (left) with their son Ben (just born 4 weeks ago)! It was fun to see them too and snap this shot. The families are getting bigger!

Looks like a great trip. Did she travel well? You look like a happy family! :)
Lina is a great traveler so far. She can do long car rides! We like to break it up with good hour breaks to play and get out of the car seat but then she'll usually go back to sleep once we hit the highway. We'll see how the plane ride goes in September. Any mommy tips you guys could give me to help make it a bit easier? Anything you found helpful?

You are seasoned travelers and sounds like Lina does very well. I got some good travel advice and it has worked for us; you may know this already. Get a couple of brand new toys for the trip or take a few toys she likes and hide it for the next few weeks so she will be fascinated by it again.
Good luck and you will do just great.
